History of HAIHONG Transformer

- before 1998 -

HAIHONG had been a state-owned enterprise.

- 1998 -
1.With enthusiasm for meeting the requirement of the reformation and reconstruction of power network, HAIHONG Transformer Co. was restructured from a state-owned enterprise, which had a history of transformer manufacture of more than 20 years, to a private enterprise.

- 1999 -
1. Obtained ISO 9002:1994 Quality System Certification approved by German TüV Rhineland Group
2. Successfully developed hermetically-sealed oil-immersed power transformer

- 2000 -
1. Successfully developed pad-mounted power transformer
2. Successfully developed hermetically-sealed beta-oil immersed power transformer ( here beta-oil refers to insulation oil with high fire point produced by USA DSI )
3. Annual sale of oil-immersed transformer ranked top in Guangdong Province
4. Oil-immersed transformer was awarded new & excellent product by Provincial Government
5. HAIHONG was awarded Hi-tech enterprise by local authority

- 2001 -
1. HAIHONG immigrated to fresh-new and picturesque industrial park
2. Successfully developed prefabricated substation
3. Successfully developed wound-core transformer
4. Beta-oil immersed power transformer was awarded new & excellent product by Provincial Government
5. HAIHONG was awarded Hi-tech enterprise by provincial authority
6. HAIHONG was awarded Grade 2 Measurement System Certification

- 2002 -
1. Obtained ISO 9001:2000 Quality System Certification approved by German TüV Rhineland Group
2. Successfully developed cable branch cabinet
3. Successfully developed looped network cabinet
4. Successfully developed electromagnetic wire
5. Wound-core transformer was awarded new & excellent product by Provincial Government

- 2003 -
1. Successfully developed Open Ventilated Grade-H Insulation Dry-type Transformer
2. Low Voltage Cabinet was awarded China Compulsory Certification

- 2004 -
1. Trademark of HAIHONG was awarded Provincial Famous Trademark
2. Authorized by USA DuPont as the Sole Chinese Manufacturer of DuPont NOMEX Paper for covered rectangular copper wire
3. Awarded Top-30 Privately-owned Enterprise by the local government (ranking the 5th place)
4. Open Ventilated Grade-H Insulation Dry-type Transformer was awarded Provincial Key Product and China High-technology Product

- 2005 -
1. Both oil-immersed and dry-type transformers were awarded Provincial Energy-saving Products
2. Successfully developed Kiosk-type prefabricated substation
3. HAIHONG was recognized as Top-1000 Emerging Mechanical Companies with the Greatest Growth Potential

- 2006 -
1. Both oil-immersed and dry-type transformers were awarded Provincial Famous Brand Products
2. Both oil-immersed and dry-type transformers were awarded Product Exemption from Quality Surveillance Inspection ( National Inspection-free Products )
3. Both oil-immersed and dry-type transformers were awarded KEMA Netherlands Product Certification
4. Successfully established dry-type transformer R&D center, which had been approved by Provincial Authority
