Low Noise Case of Guangzhou Panyu Power Supply Bureau

       The operating noise of the open ventilated 3D wound core transformer is lower than 45dB(A), and can be lower than 38dB(A), reaching the environmental noise limit of class 0 acoustic environment functional area lower than 40dB(A) at night^[1]，It is almost silent, which effectively solves the problem of NIMBY avoidance caused by noise disturbance.

       Guangzhou Panyu Power Supply Bureau purchased two SGB10-RL-630/10 open ventilated dry-type transformers to solve the noise nuisance of two SCB10 dry-type transformers in the power distribution rooms A and B of No. 11 Market Town, Shiji Town People's Hospital, Panyu question. After replacement, the noise dropped from 66.5dB(A) to 42.7dB(A). The noise sound pressure level in the transformer room dropped by about 25dB on average before and after the replacement, which solved the noise nuisance problem in the room. Two Haihong 5GB open dry-type transformers operate normally and stably, and the noise level meets the national standard GB3096-2008 in Article 5.1 "The ambient noise of the area mainly composed of residential and cultural and educational institutions shall not exceed 55dB during the daytime.The ambient noise at night shall not be greater than 45dB", and it is significantly higher than the current noise level requirements of the bureau's 10kV dry-type distribution transformer technical specification, effectively solving the problem of disturbing residents due to the noise of the distribution transformer itself.
