In order to practice the strategy of serving "carbon peak, carbon neutrality" and build a new power system, China Southern Power Grid Guangdong Power Grid Corporation pioneered the concept of "zero-carbon distribution station". On September 27, the first demonstration was put into operation in Huadu District, Guangzhou Projects to promote the green and high-quality development of urban power grid construction.
This 10kV substation adopts green building materials, and uses the prefabricated substation construction technology during the construction process to achieve the goal of "zero processing" on the construction site and "zero emission" during construction. At the same time, the distribution station also realizes the integration of photovoltaic and building, which can not only realize the "self-sufficiency" of the building's own equipment power consumption, but also reverse supply to the grid under special circumstances, improving the reliability of regional power supply.
Environmentally friendly materials + energy-saving structure "protective clothing" for waste utilization
Ventilation louvers can be opened on the lower part of the back wall and the roof of the distribution station. The temperature difference between the overhead photovoltaic panels and the roof and wall gaps due to sunlight creates a chimney effect and promotes air flow. Cold air enters from the lower part of the wall through the ventilation louvers. Ventilation louvers on the roof discharge, take away the indoor heat of the distribution station, realize natural ventilation, and reduce the indoor temperature.
"The basic materials of our distribution station are fly ash and concrete, which can be recycled, which can be regarded as waste utilization." Zheng Sicong, manager of the engineering department of Huadu Power Supply Bureau, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China Southern Power Grid, said "powder ash" is from The fine ash collected from the flue gas after coal combustion, fly ash, as the main solid waste discharged from coal-fired power plants, is one of the largest industrial wastes in my country.
Through special processing, fly ash concrete technology is mature and widely used in the construction industry. The "Zero-Carbon Distribution Station" utilizes this technology to realize the reuse of industrial solid waste without affecting the function of the building.
In addition to using recyclable materials, the wall design of the "Zero Carbon Distribution Station" also fully considers the "nearly zero energy consumption" standard, using the building itself to minimize the heat transfer coefficient of the wall to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
"Zero-carbon power distribution station" achieves the function of cutting off heat transfer by adding thermal insulation layer to the wall. At the same time, the sun visor (perforated aluminum plate) is installed on the exterior wall of the building and coated with a heat-reflective coating. The sun visor can produce a temperature-regulating effect under sunlight, and the heat-reflective coating refracts 92% of invisible light.
All kinds of measures are multi-pronged, like putting on a layer of protective clothing for the distribution station, so that the space of the entire distribution station is warm in winter and cool in summer, effectively reducing heat exchange and energy consumption.
"During the construction process, we will also use the construction method of overall prefabrication and hoisting, zero processing on site, and achieve zero emissions during the entire construction process." Zheng Sicong said.
Roof photovoltaic + microgrid energy storage "energy pool" integrating photovoltaic and storage
Chini Town has a long sunshine time and an open site, which creates conditions for the realization of photovoltaic building integration on the outer wall of the power distribution station. However, the unpredictable weather in Lingnan has also caused certain difficulties for photovoltaic power generation.
The photovoltaic roof is installed with an inclination of 14 degrees. On the one hand, it can obtain the best lighting angle and maximize the efficiency of photovoltaic panels;
"We use cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic panels. This material not only has an excellent temperature coefficient, but also is more efficient in a high-temperature environment, and the annual power generation output can increase by up to 3%." The environment and rainy weather can also work efficiently, with excellent low-light effects and better spectral response, which perfectly solves the troubles caused by the rainy weather in Lingnan.
The energy storage system of the photovoltaic power distribution station uses photovoltaic power generation resources to supplement the power consumption of the power room and improves the supply efficiency of the transformer; and the integration of photovoltaic and storage provides electricity for the backup power supply, improving the reliability of power supply in the region.
"This kind of distribution station is especially suitable for the actual situation in Huadu District. In recent years, the rapid growth of electricity demand has led to high investment in power grid construction. Every summer, before the peak load of power equipment, we will carry out the construction of summer projects. Zheng Sicong said, "Nevertheless, under the demand for electricity in high temperature weather, there are still heavy overloads of equipment in some areas. The photovoltaic distribution station has brought us a green and environmentally friendly solution to ensure reliable regional power supply. Sex builds a pool of energy."
Energy-saving power distribution equipment + smart pipe gallery "micro-terminal" of digital grid
It is worth mentioning that almost all energy-saving power distribution equipment is used in the "zero-carbon distribution station".
For example, the project adopts a new type of high-efficiency, energy-saving, green and environmentally friendly transformer equipment-open three-dimensional wound core dry-type transformer.
The open three-dimensional wound core dry-type transformer has unique advantages such as low loss, strong overload capacity, environmentally friendly insulating materials, recyclable reuse, low noise, and easy maintenance. It fully meets the requirements of green manufacturing and can be promoted and applied to various fields of power distribution.
Another example is portable energy storage power supply. It is used in indoor and outdoor application scenarios, and can provide power for temporary construction and emergency handling, reducing dependence on diesel power generation equipment, thereby reducing carbon emissions in the operation process.
The Huadu Power Supply Bureau is also piloting the application of a comprehensive energy efficiency management system at the distribution station to manage and control the power consumption of the power house, laying the foundation for future promotion to the user side and better realizing energy conservation and emission reduction.
"On the basis of building a zero-carbon emission demonstration project, we will continue to sum up experience, form a zero-carbon power distribution room technical standard that can be replicated and promoted, and apply it to the province's power grid construction projects to build a new type of power with new energy as the main body. The system provides strong support." Mou Ning, senior manager of the Distribution Network Engineering Section of the Infrastructure Department of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, said that Guangdong Power Grid Corporation will deeply implement the historical mission of power grid companies to promote energy green and low-carbon transformation, and resolutely implement the country's carbon emission peak before 2030 Action plan requirements.
