Recently, a collaborative effort between Guangdong Power Grid Company, Haihong Electric, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, North China Electric Power University, and Advanced Technology & Materials Co., Ltd. has culminated in the successful development and comprehensive testing of the 110kV energy-saving amorphous alloy 3D wound core oil-immersed power transformer. This achievement signifies a new era in China's high-voltage energy-efficient transformer technology and represents a milestone of epoch-making significance in electrical equipment R&D. The product will soon be put into operation at the 110kV Hongchang Substation in Chaonan District, Shantou City.

Haihong Electric's 110kV 3D Wound core power transformer technology has been included in the China's Proposed List of Energy-Saving Technologies and Practices Recommended for International "Top Ten" Selection under the category of energy-saving technologies in the industrial and information technology sector.
