In recent years, many cities in my country have been affected by waterlogging disasters every year. Waterlogging caused flooding and damage to power distribution equipment in low-lying areas, which directly affected life and production electricity consumption. Transformer is a key part of power distribution. Once damaged, it will affect the safety of power supply. It is difficult to dismantle and replace on site, and it takes a long time, which will cause great inconvenience to the normal electricity consumption of the society.

Passed 24 hours immersion test

Haihong Electric's open three-dimensional wound core dry-type transformer (hereinafter referred to as open dry-type transformer) can effectively combat the threat of urban waterlogging and flooding. In order to test the moisture-proof performance of the open dry change, we directly soaked the product over the top for 24 hours, then took out the product for lightning impact test, externally applied withstand voltage test, and partial discharge measurement. All the data obtained from the test met the standard requirements. The product successfully passed the 24-hour immersion test.

Can withstand the actual combat test of waterlogging

In 2018, when the super typhoon "Mangosteen" raged, the river flooded Kaiping, Guangdong, and many urban areas were flooded. One of the residential areas used our 5 open dry transformers. Due to the serious water accumulation in the garage, all of them were flooded over the top and soaked time exceeds 24 hours. After the water recedes, the product can resume normal power supply only after simple cleaning and drying, which greatly improves the efficiency of power supply restoration.

In 2017, a residential area in Yangjiang, Guangdong Province was affected by heavy rain, and the power distribution room was soaked by accumulated water. The depth of the accumulated water in the room exceeded 90cm. The 10 open-ended dry transformers purchased in 2010 in the residential area had been soaked to the high-voltage tap position. After the stagnant water receded, the product was simply cleaned and dried, and the power supply was restored immediately. Its excellent moisture-proof performance was highly recognized by customers.

In 2006, a certain place in Lechang, Guangdong was hit by a strong typhoon "Bilis" torrential rain, and the power equipment was severely soaked in water. Our open-dried dishes were soaked in accumulated water for two days and two nights. The product quickly resumes power supply after simple processing. So far, the product has been in operation for nearly 20 years and is in good condition.

Decipher excellent moisture-proof ability

The outstanding moisture resistance of the open dry is thanks to the hybrid insulation system design. The hybrid insulation system is composed of NOMEX? aramid insulating paper with superior moisture resistance and corrosion resistance, PIF polyimide film and German Elantas one-component environmentally friendly insulating varnish. The product adopts Haihong Electric's rigorous VPI vacuum pressure impregnation process, which has comprehensively improved moisture-proof performance and is not afraid of the threat of waterlogging.

The open dry transformer has outstanding moisture-proof and pollution-resistant performance, and has inherent advantages in preventing transformer damage caused by urban waterlogging.
