Recently, the "2.0 Times High Overload Integrated Power Distribution Mobile Platform" jointly developed by Haihong Electric and Kaiping Power Supply Bureau, along with the self-developed "35kV Amorphous Alloy 3D Wound Core Oil-Immersed Power Transformer," successfully passed the project achievement appraisal conducted by the Guangdong Provincial Machinery Industry Association. The expert committee determined that both products demonstrate innovation, with comprehensive performance indicators reaching internationally leading levels. This appraisal marks a significant breakthrough for Haihong Electric in the field of 3D Wound core transformer technology, injecting strong momentum into the green and low-carbon transformation of China's power transmission and distribution industry.



A New Solution for Emergency and Contingency Power Supply: The 2.0 Times High Overload Integrated Power Distribution Mobile Platform – "Plug and Operate"

Haihong Electric, in collaboration with Guangdong Power Grid Kaiping Power Supply Bureau, has pioneered the 2.0 Times High Overload Integrated Power Distribution Mobile Platform – a mobile substation equipped with energy storage. When supplying power to outage areas or temporary power zones, the platform simply needs to be connected to a normal operating distribution network and terminal power network, thereby utilizing the grid to provide short-term, reliable power to specific areas. This project offers a solution for emergency repair short-term power supply that is ultra-fast, ultra-energy-efficient, and features ultra-strong overload capacity. The platform can be rapidly deployed in scenarios such as emergency power backup, temporary capacity expansion, and disaster rescue. Its "plug-and-Operate" flexibility ensures power supply for people's livelihoods, providing a reliable tool for power supply assurance and enhancing the disaster prevention and emergency response capabilities of the power grid.



A New Solution for 35kV Power Distribution: The 35kV Amorphous Alloy 3D Wound Core Transformer Sets a New Benchmark for Energy Efficiency

Haihong Electric has successfully developed the first 35kV 10,000kVA capacity SZH25-RL-10000/35-NX1 amorphous alloy 3D Wound core transformer. This product achieves the first application of low-loss amorphous alloy 3D Wound core at the 35kV voltage level! Compared to a silicon steel Grade 1 energy efficiency transformer of the same capacity, this product reduces no-load losses by approximately 63.9%, load losses by approximately 3.2%, and no-load current by approximately 78.1%, providing an ultra-low loss power distribution solution for 35kV applications. The product utilizes a novel core suspension scheme, ensuring stable long-term transformer operation while addressing issues associated with amorphous materials, such as high brittleness, sensitivity to stress leading to operational instability, and high noise levels.



The national document "Implementation Plan for High-Quality Development of Energy-Saving Equipment (2026-2028)," issued in 2026, explicitly identifies "amorphous alloy strip" as a key material for ultra-Grade 1 energy efficiency transformers, promoting its research, development, and upgrading. The successful development of the 35kV amorphous alloy 3D Wound core transformer provides a mature technical foundation for achieving this policy objective and accumulates valuable experience for the application of amorphous alloy materials at higher voltage levels and larger capacities.

The appraisal committee, composed of nine senior experts from China Southern Power Grid Company, South China University of Technology, Electric Power Research Institute of China Southern Power Grid, China National Electric Apparatus Research Institute, Guangdong Power Grid Company, Electric Power Research Institute of Guangdong Power Grid, China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute, Electric Power Research Institute of Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid, and the Guangdong Provincial Machinery Industry Association, unanimously agreed that the two products feature highly targeted innovations capable of effectively addressing practical challenges in the construction of new-type power systems.
