Haihong Company established a project in 2013 to develop a three-dimensional wound core transformer with a voltage level above 110kV. At present, the project has realized industrialization, and the maximum capacity of the product is 80,000kVA. The project applies the three-dimensional wound core technology to the 110kV voltage level transformer, subverting the history of the planar structure core in the transformer industry for more than 120 years. It is energy-saving (low no-load loss), environmental protection (low noise, small Phase balance, strong short circuit resistance), high production efficiency and other technical advantages, in line with energy saving and emission reduction, "carbon peak, carbon neutral" and other industrial requirements. The project revolves around R&D and innovation, conducts patent mining, forms a high-value patent protection portfolio, protects patented technologies from multiple aspects such as materials, structures, processes, and equipment, and prepares market layout in advance. A total of 94 domestic and foreign patents have been applied for, and have been authorized. 10 domestic authorized invention patents, 9 foreign authorized invention patents (USA, South Korea, India, Malaysia), realize the intellectual property protection of multiple core technology points, ensure the stability of intellectual property rights, and are highly in line with the national high-quality development strategy.
