Charging/swapping infrastructure is the intersection of transportation power and energy security, and is now transitioning from quantity expansion to quality improvement. Currently, the sustainable development of charging/swapping station infrastructure faces two major challenges that urgently need to be addressed: First, the overall electrical loss of the entire station remains high. The total electrical loss of heavy-duty truck charging stations generally exceeds 10%, while for EV car charging stations it ranges between 10% and 15%. Combined with factors such as equipment aging, high operating temperatures, insufficient charging volume, and low utilization rates, the electrical loss can surge to 12% for heavy-duty truck charging stations and 15% for EV car charging stations. Second, under hot outdoor conditions, when charging at full load, the transformer experiences temperature rise-induced de-rating and frequent shutdowns, making 24-hour continuous operation of the charging station impossible.

The Haihong power distribution solution for charging/swapping stations incorporates self-developed low-temperature-rise technology. The transformer adopts Class C(R) insulation (temperature resistance of 220°C). Even at 125% overload, the coil temperature rise remains far below the temperature rise limit requirement for Class C insulation systems (150K). This low-temperature-rise technology plays a critical role in charging/swapping stations, solving the problems of temperature rise-induced de-rating and frequent shutdowns, allowing users to truly achieve 24-hour continuous high-load operation and sustained revenue.
